The Permanent

A 1907 former bank hall in the heart of Crosstown, crowned by a jewel of a stained glass dome and anchored by the original vault door. Marble, crystal, and a sixteen foot heritage bar give every dinner a sense of occasion the moment guests walk in.

Aberthau Mansion

A Tudor-style heritage mansion in leafy West Point Grey, with an Oak Room, a panelled lounge, a baby grand piano, and a garden for ceremonies. It does not run its own kitchen catering, so the food is yours to choose, which makes it a favourite for intimate, characterful celebrations.

Vancouver's oldest heritage building on its original site, an 1888 railway roundhouse of wood post-and-beam and brick in the heart of Yaletown, home to historic Engine 374. A large air-conditioned auditorium in East Vancouver with a stage, a sound system, and a full bar, the Maritime Labour Centre is built for big gatherings and partitions down into smaller breakaway rooms when you need them. Free parking and a 500-seat capacity make it one of the easier large halls to host in.

Hellenic Community Centre of Vancouver

A spacious Greek community centre near Arbutus with a grand main hall plus two smaller function rooms, set up for everything from a 600-guest gala to an intimate dinner. The room comes with a PA system, linens, a dance floor wherever you want it, and full wheelchair access, a genuinely flexible canvas for a large Sula feast.

A historic Strathcona hall run by the Association of United Ukrainian Canadians, with an upstairs auditorium and stage over a downstairs dining hall, plus a full industrial kitchen.
