Sula has catered at John M.S. Lecky UBC Boathouse in Fraser River waterfront, Vancouver. A fully floating event hall on the Fraser River, all glass walls, dock space, and water-and-mountain views. It is one of the few proper waterfront rooms in the region that hands you the kitchen and lets you bring your own caterer. We have plated weddings and corporate dinners inside it.
Our menu travels with us. Halal chicken and lamb, no beef and no pork, tier service from $23.95 per guest, live tandoor and dosa stations, full vegetarian, vegan, and Jain options. Full-day rental runs roughly $3,150 to $6,825 depending on day and season, with a $1,000 galley fee for caterers outside the preferred list. Rates are set by the Boathouse and quoted separately from catering.

Yes. The Boathouse welcomes outside caterers and gives you full use of the servery galley. A galley fee applies for caterers off their preferred list, and we factor that straight into your Sula quote so there are no surprises.
How many guests can Sula serve at the UBC Boathouse?
The event hall seats up to 150 for a plated or buffet dinner and holds up to 180 for a standing cocktail reception. We scale the menu and service to either format.
