Indian Catering at Dr. Sun Yat-Sen Classical Chinese Garden
Halal Indian catering at Dr. Sun Yat-Sen Classical Chinese Garden in Chinatown, Vancouver.
Sula has catered at Dr. Sun Yat-Sen Classical Chinese Garden in Chinatown, Vancouver. The first full-scale classical Chinese garden built outside China, tucked into Vancouver Chinatown with courtyards, covered walkways, and the still Jade Water pond at its centre. The Hall of One Hundred Rivers gives a private interior room while the courtyards open the celebration to the garden itself. We have plated weddings and corporate dinners inside it.
Our menu travels with us. Halal chicken and lamb, no beef and no pork, tier service from $23.95 per guest, live tandoor and dosa stations, full vegetarian, vegan, and Jain options. We coordinate with Dr. Sun Yat-Sen Classical Chinese Garden and your timeline, and bring everything to plate the room in our colours.

The garden hosts receptions and weddings and works with caterers on its event bookings. We are glad to coordinate directly with the garden on catering arrangements and confirm the details for your date before anything is booked.
How many guests can Sula serve at Dr. Sun Yat-Sen Classical Chinese Garden?
The China Maple Hall and Main Courtyard can host gatherings of up to 200 guests, while the Hall of One Hundred Rivers offers a private interior room of about 1,300 square feet. Smaller spaces such as the Jade Water Pavilion suit intimate groups. We match the menu and service to the space you choose.

Yes. Our default is halal, halal chicken and lamb, no beef and no pork ever. Vegetarian, vegan, Jain, and gluten-free options are built into every tier.

Our per-guest tiers start at $23.95 and run to $31.95, plus full custom builds. The garden sets the room fee directly, and we fold it into one Sula quote.
Can the celebration move between indoor and outdoor spaces?
Yes. The garden is built around courtyards, pavilions, and covered walkways, so a ceremony in the courtyard can flow to a reception in the Hall of One Hundred Rivers, which works in any season. We plan the catering service around that movement.
