Sula has catered at VanDusen Botanical Garden in Shaughnessy, Vancouver. A living garden landmark in the heart of Shaughnessy, where the glass-and-timber Visitor Centre opens straight onto fifty-five acres of curated planting. It is one of the rare botanical settings in the city that welcomes an outside caterer, so a full Sula spread can land in a genuinely green room. We have plated weddings and corporate dinners inside it.
Our menu travels with us. Halal chicken and lamb, no beef and no pork, tier service from $23.95 per guest, live tandoor and dosa stations, full vegetarian, vegan, and Jain options. We coordinate with VanDusen Botanical Garden and your timeline, and bring everything to plate the room in our colours.

VanDusen publishes hall rental ranges, roughly $260 to $1,460 per room depending on the space and day. A 12 percent food and beverage fee applies when an outside caterer is used, and is waived only when the on-site Truffles Fine Foods caters. The room fee is separate from catering.

Does VanDusen Botanical Garden allow outside catering like Sula?
Yes. The garden keeps an in-house option through Truffles Fine Foods, but you are welcome to bring in an outside caterer such as Sula. A 12 percent food and beverage fee applies to outside catering, and the garden asks any caterer cooking on site to protect the floor and to deliver and collect everything within the booked window.
How many guests can Sula serve at VanDusen Botanical Garden?
The Floral Hall and the Visitor Centre halls each seat up to 120 for a plated reception, and the Visitor Centre can hold 300 or more for a standing cocktail event. We scale the menu and service to whichever hall and headcount you book.

Yes. The garden offers outdoor ceremony settings at the Great Lawn, Heron Lake, and Meadow Pond, with the Great Lawn and Heron Lake holding around 120 guests. Note the garden does not permit food or drink at the outdoor ceremony spots, so the catered portion moves into the halls, and we plan the flow with you.
